Hyundai Accent Hatchback 1.3 GSi 5d (1999/V) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Only worth it second hand, depreciation has been approx £800 p.a. if you buy a 3 year old car (£3700 with 12 month warranty from main dealer) and keep it 2 years.
Costs
Cheap motoring second hand, petrol 36-40 m.p.g. servicing reasonable 50K service cost £240 from main dealer.

On the road
Driving
Add a £15 pair of spring assisters to the rear and it corners OK with minor body roll.
Performance
Needs to be revved but quick for a 1.3 with this size body (compares well to 1.4 Almera).
-
Living with it

Seats hard but OK for 360 miles a day with no backache.
