Hyundai Atoz 1.0 5d (1998/S) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Good value - I got a discount on retail price.
Costs
Good mpg. Dealer servicing is not cheap, however it gets better if you haggle a bit.

On the road
Driving
Drives well and easy to handle with good power steering. Once you settle to the car you can find it surprisingly nimble.
Performance
Goes well enough considering size of engine. Pulls up hills very well indeed with a full load. We can go up most hills including all those on the M62 with four adults plus luggage - all in 5th gear.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems and thus very reliable indeed.
Image
Unusual but it grows on you and many regard it as cute. You have something that's different from the rest.
Comfort
Plenty of room for four adults in reasonable comfort. The high driving position is good. It's also easy to get in and out of, being a taller car.

Security and Service
Security
Probably adequate in line with the price paid for the car.
Service
Supplying dealer gave bad service so I changed to another Hyundai dealer who is first rate. Hyundai themselves have been excellent with their customer care.
