Hyundai Bayon (2024) review: front three quarter driving, blue paint

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Totally disagree with professional reviewers who talk about the lack of soft touch plastics in the cabin, who wants to spend time squishing plastics ? And this car is great to drive, obviously it depends on your point of view. It is true, it is not marketed towards boy racers but I have no complaints about how it drives, and there is nothing cheap about the interior, in my opinion, the quality is fine. They must be comparing it to more expensive options. Definitely the best car I have owned. What do I like about the car ? Cheap to buy, cheap to run, tried and tested reliability and warranty, great looking, really comfortable, love the interior, loads of kit as standard, and I am a big fan of the MHEV system, which improves fuel economy. Professional reviewers are not ordinary car buyers. The Bayon ticks the boxes for a lot of normal drivers. Buy one, you won't regret it, and no, I don't work for Hyundai ! :)

How reliable do you find the car?

Have only had the car 6 weeks but previously driven 100 000 miles in Hyundais and found them very reliable.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Better than I expected, great build quality, quiet, smooth, really fun when driven in Sport mode. Smashing car.
