Economy
Value
Lost it's value very quickly, bought it in 2003 for £6000, just sold it for £2700.
Costs
Nothing went wrong on the car, it was great. General wear and tear was the only real costs for me, and they were not too much more than your everyday hatchback.

On the road
Driving
Good handling, but can under steer. Feel a lot of feedback from the road, but I had aftermarket suspension & alloys fitted.
Performance
Looks like it should be up there with the Celica's other coupes, but sadly lacked.

Living with it
Reliability
This car never stopped. It ran out of oil, and for some reason the light never came on. Was only alerted to it by a strange sound in the engine. Mechanic checked it over due to my concern, said it was in good condition still.
Image
I put lowered suspension on, and alloys as apposed to the standard wheels and trims, which made the car look superb, not charver-ish at all!
Comfort
Having never been a passenger in the car, can only really judge on what I was told. The passengers side was very spacious if required, and the seats are quite body hugging. The back fits people not too much bigger than kids in, but this car isn't an MPV.

Security and Service
Security
Bought the car 2nd hand, and somebody had fitted a Cat1 alarm which went off when some kids tried to steal the wheel trims!
Service
They were honest about the car, but the warranty was a bit weak (from a subsidiary, not Hyundai main dealer)
