Value
Bought early 2003 for £3000 and part-ex of £1500 for my P-reg Accent Coupe.
Costs
Parts can be hard to get and I think the dealers are relatively expensive. Working on the car yourself is not helped when no manual is available! Although the Hyundai Webtech Online manual is quite a help!

Driving
It's a pleasure! No problems.
Performance
For the price, this car performs extremely well, handling is solid.

Living with it
Reliability
I've had a reliable car that starts every time and has not let me down for nearly a year... that's more than fine in my book!
Image
It's almost perfect in my eyes, and it's a stunner that people turn to look at. Great stylish design.
Comfort
Interior-wise, it looks a bit cheap, but the styling is good, albeit plastic!

Security and Service
Security
Very rarely, the locks activate but the alarm doesn't 'beep' - it can take a few presses, normally it happens when wet... only happened 3 times though!
Service
Some dealer advice has been less than I expected. After 3 trips to the dealer and diagnosis costs of £100, the noise I reported on the driver's wheel could not be explained. However, upon checking it out with a friend of mine, it was just a worn shock!
