Hyundai Coupe (2002 - 2009) 1.6 S 3d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
My previous car was an audi a4 2.0 tdi and a passat before that which was 03. I was looking for a new car that did not have all the problems of a vag car but a smaller engine as i dont do a job that does not involve me goig through the rush hour traffic every day so would use it for light driving and a couple of long trips. When i was looking at this car, i thought it was a head turner but with two kids, practicality was an issue. That was until i drove and saw it. The space is small in the back but loads of room for my children who are 2 and 5. Coming from diesels, it took a bit of time to get used to the torque in low gears which is how you maximize the power out of it. I could easily attain a4 speeds. Bends are no issue for this car and handle better than any car with esp i have ever driven. There is a lovely sound off the engine with a hint of sports pedigree. I was surprised from a 1.6 to be honest. It has plenty of power for the car. xenon and led bulbs are a must for this car. In the vag cars i always drove them with hesitation for something going wrong but i dont have this feeling with this car. It feels solid o the road with a hint of bullet proof from the engine. Parts for this car were cheap with a clutch coming in at about 50 pounds for example. Its a quality car i must say. Mine came with Bluetooth, camera for recording accidents, air con as well as a new timing belt, catalytic converter and clutch. Well happy with this car, it will be a classic car and is one that will never age.
How reliable do you find the car?
Normal wear and tear, breakpads and bulbs.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I have two kids and they fit in no problem in the back. Gets me from a-b which my last car barely did.About their car
