Summary
What does this car say about you?
Youthful and sporty, especially after changing the badges to Tuscani and nobody looking down to it because of Hyundai (that's how it's sold abroad, like Lexus-Toyota).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it. Unless they have to sit in the back seats
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, no more sporty cars for us, we want comfort, high driving position. Enjoyed this one for 2+ years though, have to do the sporty thing once in life.
What are you likely to buy next?
Mercedes A class/ Nissan Qashqai

Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£15,100
When did you buy the car?
October 2005
Did you get a good deal and why?
Haggled with internet prices in hand. They thought about it and gave me a good price with doing a pre-reg trick (got the car brand new).
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Liked the built quality, wanted automatic sports car with lots of extras (more than most BMWs I've had!)
What was the dealer like?
Great.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
VERY sporty, low driving position, huge grip. Makes me smile in twisty country roads. Makes my backside ache on bumpy roads! Recommended for the kind of people who care more about looks and sportiness than ANY comfort. Bad for night drives, due to it being so low, next car will be 4x4 love high driving position
What's it like to park?
Difficult, even with the parking sensors. Very small side windows.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Optional parking sensors stopped working, fixed under warranty in 30 mins. Very reliable car.
What's most practical about your car?
Huge boot, rear seats go down. Managed to fit lots of furniture from Ikea including 3 person garden swing!!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Glass sunroof, auto gearbox designed by Porsche is very responsive too. Installed a Blaupunkt stereo & Sat/Nav & 10 CD changer & steering wheel control in place of the dreadful Hyundai stereo.
