Summary
What does this car say about you?
I like a pokey, sporty car that looks like it cost a lot more than it's worth.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family likes it, loves the looks and performance, the missus absolutely loves it to the point where it helped me pull her in the first place ;).
Would you buy this car again and why?
I doubt it but only because I want a turbocharged powerhouse next time!
What are you likely to buy next?
Subaru Impreza WRX or Toyota Celica T-Sport.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,495
When did you buy the car?
May 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Swings and roundabouts, negotiated the price down a little due to the car needing tires, rear discs and pads as well as a steering alignment and a few paint scratches and dents, other than that, yes.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was the car i'd been looking for, wanted a second car that had a bit of bite and style.
What was the dealer like?
He knew sod all about cars!!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Sluggish in the lower rev range but has some get up and go after 3000RPM other than that rather timid for a 2.0L petrol that gets 28MPG on average. Handling wise is sharp, precise and responsive, low down ride glues it to the road even on budget tires.
What's it like to park?
Here and there, the sensibly large, electric mirrors help you if you're having a hard time but the largely angled rear screen makes it surprisingly difficult to judge distance until you're accustom to it, however the spoiler is a useful marker.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No, although I must note that the handbrake seems VERY week considering a fresh OEM one was fitted.
What's most practical about your car?
It's not a practical car really but the boot is a lot bigger than you might expect.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control, sits smooth and lovely even at 30mph in 5th.
