Hyundai Getz (2002 - 2009) 1.1 CDX 5d (05) Owner Review

Hard to dislike the car as it does what it is made to do so well - great around town and not bad at all on longer drives although yes, you need to plan overtakes and be careful at roundabouts and joining fast roads as the performance is not the best away from the lights. It does have a nice loop-a-long drive once you are at 60mph, where it feels it is being blown along by the wind and can keep a decent speed going. Indeed, a bit of gas pedal heaviness here and you can find yourself overtaking lines of slower moving traffic - then smile as some drivers cannot take be overtaken by a small Hyundai and out they pull to get past you again. Great little car, very frugal. Gets 60 mpg on a long run. Do not try to go too mad through as it will run wide on every sharp bend if you do so.
