Economy
Value
Paid £6500 brand new, but didn't get free servicing on my model. A couple of months later - free servicing on my model. Oh well…
Costs
Projected servicing costs are reasonable (dealer menu costs.) Beware fuel economy! Nowhere near the figures in the brochure! I'm getting 38-40 in town, and a best of 45mpg on a run going easy. I'm not alone.

On the road
Driving
Nice to drive, light controls, handles well, a good package.
Performance
Acceptable if you rev it, but then with my fuel returns that's hardly an option. Struggles with steep hills, having to drop to 3rd and 4th.

Living with it
Reliability
So far so good.Nothing has gone wrong in 4500miles/four months and to be honest doesn't feel as if it will either. Hyundai have a good reputation for robust mechanicals so here's hoping....I'm in it for the long run.
Image
Euro box look better than some others around at the moment(in my view.)
Comfort
Hard seats, suit me but might not suit everyone. Bags of room in the back for the size of car.

Security and Service
Security
No alarm and no unique fit radio. Not the best showing here, but then doesn't really have that ""steal me"" image.
Service
dealer has dithered about fuel consumption stating it's about right, seemed reticent about looking into it any further, so can only give three blobs here

Fuel consumption nowhere near manufacturers claimed mpg - beware if fuel consumption is paramount because you won't get much as a trade in.
