Summary
What does this car say about you?
On the last 200 mile trip I did I counted 15 other i10's so it says its popular, cheap to run, has a bloody good warranty package, so people can say what they like really, as I know I'm not going to get any surprise bills any time soon due to mechanical failure etc.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My Missus, Dad, father in law hate it. The kids love it. But as the haters go out in it more they are changing their tune.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - because times are hard, the cost of living is forever up and I need a car I can rely on and afford to run as well as tick all the other boxes - and this car does it all.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another i10 if the deals are about or possibly a slightly larger Hyundai.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£7,900
When did you buy the car?
November 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Current discounts on the model range made it worthwhile.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The old car was 11 years old and was costing too much to keep on the road. This car came in a value for money package with many positive reviews.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful and knowledgeable but had no movement on price or extras ( because Hyundai have sold 20,000+ i10's this year).

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I call it the go kart. Great zipping around town or through the lanes. Will also sit on the motorway with no fuss. Don't believe the mileage figures quoted as you'll get mid 40's to the gallon tops.
What's it like to park?
A doddle. Good front and rear views with a small wheelbase make it easy to squeeze into tight spaces.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only had it a month. Nothing wrong so far! Engine gradually freeing up. Quite a nippy car when it's opened up.
What's most practical about your car?
It'll seat four adults with legroom yet will fit in tiny spaces.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Several. Four electric windows, the air con (even in November!), the USB socket for the smartphone, and the two 12V sockets front and centre console.
