What does this car say about you?

I don't expect it to say anything, it is simply a tool for transport.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Haven't discussed it. My wife, kids & grandkids seem happy enough with it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Not unless the window seals issue is fixed. I wrote to Hyundai Marketing Director asking if he needs to cayy a squeegee when the car was less than 1 year old. As yet no reply.

What are you likely to buy next?

Will consider going back to Misubishi.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Seemed ok, I got some discount & had the silly little spare wheel replaced with a full sized steel wheel before collection.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I had considered as a private purchase & when I changed jobs following redundancy I was provided with a company car. I wanted a car with good fuel consumption & reasonable company car tax.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer representative was very helpful.

What's it like to drive?

Smooth, fairly quiet & the six speed box helps the 1.6CRDi engine cope.

What's it like to park?

No problem.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Side window seals don't remove condensation, I carry a squeegee. Alloy wheels were replaced before the car was 1 year old due to corrosion. Open road fuel consumption is nowhere near quoted fantasy figures. ESP light coming on when driving, to be addressed in a few weeks at scheduled service.

What's most practical about your car?

In the main it does the job I need it to do. It's not meant to be a status symbol.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

MP3 connectivity. Cruise control would have been a nice option but would have resulted in a 3 month delay on delivery.
