Hyundai i30 Hatchback (2007 - 2011) 1.6 Premium 5d Owner Review
In their own words
If you want or need a car that serves its purpose perfectly in every way and you aren't a badge snob this could be the car for you. While not the best looking car in the world but it's not offensive. It may not have the polished handling dynamics of a focus at the ragged edge but I'm not a lunatic, don't do track days and am not motoring journalist so I don't care.
How reliable do you find the car?
It's battery went flat after 7 years.Time for the scrap yard!Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Excellent quality. I'm a long time (25 year) vw fan and can honestly say that the build quality appears to be a match for any golf of a similar period. Admittedly, some of the hard plastics are a bit shiny and cheap looking but it's all rock solid. Having borrowed a friends corolla of the same year and mileage I was genuinely surprised how much better the i30 is in every way. I've also driven Astras and focus' of the same vintage and again, the i30 matches them in all departments.About their car
