Hyundai i30 Tourer SE 1.6 CRDi 110PS 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I had the option of cash for car at work and found this the right match for my requirements as an estate car, normally a fan of german three pointed stars which I still continue to purchase. I truly believe the Hyundai represents one of my best purchases in life.
I have to say that the cabin comfort is great for the ex -demo price of just £14k with 8,000 miles on the clock at 6 months old, it has enough acceleration to drive comfortably with the confidence to overtake and joined motorways. Extremely easy to park and the rear camera is a bonus for those tight spots.
It has been a long time since I experienced the economy of cloth but I like it and it cleans easily and remains respectable. At the cheaper end of the market there is of course plastic but its reasonable and practical.
If I could change anything it would be the noisy cabin, road noise is evident but after been spoilt by Mercedes E Class in the family for years it would be. The real question is would I buy it again, well most definitely, the bargain hunter in me would not pay retail, ex-demo cars often provide a great reduction in price and if you are in for the long haul being second registered has little to no effective on value.
I aim to drive this for 5-7 years and then gift it in the family. Hyundai have come a long way and this ones worth considering.
