Hyundai ix20 (2010 - 2019) SE Nav 1.4 Blue Drive 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Good points - all round visibility, and the rear parking camera is very useful. Slick gearbox and great driving position. Drives nicely and easy to manouevre, good turning circle. For a small car, has a lot of boot space, clever split level design. Not so good - the engine feels a bit underpowered at times for a 1.4. The design near the rear wheels at the bottom means a lot of stone chips are picked up at both sides. When the car was 3.5 years old and 42000 miles, a wheel bearing needed replaced, which is well below the normal lifespan for these parts. Also, Hyundai parts turned out to be very expensive which I hadn't researched beforehand. At 4 years old, I noticed rust spots appearing in 10 different small areas, many of them hidden from normal view. Not covered by the anti-perforation warranty as the previous owner had not serviced the car at a Hyundai dealer or had the anti-perforation check done so the rust warranty was void.I knew that when I bought the car but wasn't expecting any issue with rust at 4 or 5 years old (false sense of security from previous Hondas not showing rust until a lot older). Perhaps I was lucky with my previous cars or unlucky with this one.
