Purchased as a local runaround but we have found it to be much more versatile than we anticipated. It is the easiest car for entry and exit that we own which my wife loves as she has a bad back. We now will use this occasionally for longer trips and collecting the Grandchildren (200 or 130-mile round trip) as it is relatively quiet and comfortable. Performance has improved from new and it is now quite lively but not in the league of our high-performance saloon. It is a good all-around cheap car that has exceeded expectations. To give a base for comparison our other cars are a Mercedes, a Lexus and a Bentley, whilst it is targeted at different segment the little Hyundai is not shamed by any of these.
