What does this car say about you?

Sophisticated and good looking( the car that is, not me).

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all like its lines and aerodynamic shape and want to look inside.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I'm not sure. I intend to keep the car for 5 years and it will depend on my ongoing experience whether I change like for like. I might go smaller as fuel economy on the IX35 is disappointing and well below expectations.

What are you likely to buy next?

Probably a smaller vehicle but as yet undecided.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Reasonably good deal. I got the car for the price I was willing to pay and received a reasonable trade in price for my RAv4.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a replacement for my ageing RAV4.

What was the dealer like?

Salesman was good but back up service was substandard.

What's it like to drive?

It has plenty power when needed and even copes offroad moderately well. The steering is light and needs constant attention.

What's it like to park?

Not as easy as some vehicles I have had. I still have difficulty guessing where the front and rear bumpers are when parking but the rear camera is very useful when reversing into spaces.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I had a lot of initial electrical problems which I reported in my review in June 2012. Since the problems were finally resolved I have had no problems for the last 16 months and I am much happier with my purchase.

What's most practical about your car?

Easy access and comfort. Useful apacious boot which does not involve bending down to access.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Reversing camera is a huge advantage. Bluetooth and satnav are also useful accessories.
