Hyundai Lantra Saloon 1.6 16V GLSi 4d (1994/M) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Budget price, but well equipped for its age.
Costs
Plenty of Lantras at scrap yards, so just throw in low mileage replacement parts.

On the road
Driving
I love driving my Lantra, especially in good weather, with the electric sunroof back and all electric windows open. No fiddling with winders.
Performance
Excellent, flies on the motorway, my mate asked me if it was turbo charged, doh!

Living with it
Reliability
Always starts first time. With 108k on the clock I'm surprised I've not had more trouble.
Image
My Lantra is silver, with a boot spoiler and alloys, people at work call it the posh car, my dad has confused it with a BMW from behind before now. Imagine the one in the picture in Silver.
Comfort
Comfy enough, and I do some miles.

Security and Service
Security
It's got a decent alarm fitted with immobiliser.
Service
Always helpful, and ready with advice.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
As it is on over 100k I get it serviced regularly, so no problems. Expected parts have been replaced.
Other
I wish the hole from boot to rear seats was bigger, but it is a saloon.
