Economy
Value
One reason for buying this car. Good reliability record combined with good drivers reports. Aftersales terms (5 years unlimited milage warranty, 3 years/30,000 miles free servicing provides peace of mind.)
Costs
Unable to comment on actual running cost of car. Should however be economical as far as fuel consumption and tax are concerned.

On the road
Driving
Car is used daily for personal use and business. It is comfortable for the driver and passengers. Driving is enjoyable due to a combination of good roadholding combined with high gear accelleration when required to get away from danger.
Performance
Probably due to turbo charging, there is good acceleration between 2000-4000rpm. There is therefore little benefit running the car in low gears. No problems overtaking slow moving vehicles moving between 40-60mph.

Reliability
One of the main reasons for choosing this car - very good reports from impartial sources, but no first hand opinion. The car is presently still running in!

Did not buy the car for presenting an image. If so I would have chosen one of the popular German brands. Korean and Japanese just will not do, however if Hyundai can keep up the quality the image will improve in time!
Comfort
Within the realms for reasonableness, we could not ask for any more. The audio system has good sound quality, although it would be safer to have the audio controls on the steeringwheel.

Security
Although I am happy to give the car's security system my benefit of doubt, I find it hard to understand why a remote key and alarm system is not available at this time. No doubt the next model will have these important features.
Service
Good service with previously owned vehicles.
