Summary
What does this car say about you?
I care about value for money.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Impressed, even though it is not an executive brand.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, still going strong after 90,000 miles.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'd like an Audi A4 Avant 3.0 TDI.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,100
When did you buy the car?
December 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I live at over 700 feet and get a lot of snow in winter. The road to the house is fairly steep.
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Best at around 60 mph on motorways. Bit noisy above, and heavier on fuel as well. Fairly highly geared, so you need to change down a lot on twisty hilly B roads. Body rolls somewhat on fast roundabouts.
What's it like to park?
Needs quite a large space, but you can easily mount a kerb to get in if needed.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The oil filter housing sprang a leak. The Hyundai dealer charged over £150 to fix it.
What's most practical about your car?
Good for moving small items of furniture, lawn mowers, student's belongings etc.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The sun roof, especially being able to leave it open a little when the car is parked in the hot sun. When you come back to the car its less like an oven.
