Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not much other than the fact that I don't buy a brand just for the sake of it. The car is pretty anonymous and no thief would ever nick it.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it especially with the dark tinted windows in the back. It looks more powerful than it actually is. Very spacious and has helped with a number of house moves.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, definately but only if it had a bigger V6 engine with more power.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not planning on changing it yet. However, am considering either a VW Touareg V6 or a Range Rover V8. Will need a bigger garage first though...

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, bought it from a dealer who sold it for 1k less than book value as it didn't fit into his 'class' of vehicles that he normally sells i.e. Mercedes.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Needed a car urgently to replace my previous one which required lots of repairs. Always liked the look of the Santa Fe as it is highly individual.
What was the dealer like?
Great and very easy to deal with.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drives well for a medium size 4x4 with a small V6 engine and auto box. I really wished that it had the 3.3 V6 which is available on US spec Santa Fe's. It would benefit from a bit more power.
What's it like to park?
Never had any problems parking it although electric folding mirrors would be fantastic as my garage is very tight.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong so far - much to my delight. The car is also still under warranty (5 years).
What's most practical about your car?
Love the tailgate window which can be opened seperately - great if you just want to load small items.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Love the tiptronic function on the autobox and use the manual mode quite frequently. The V6 sounds lovely when pushed hard.
