Value
5 grand cheaper than equivalent spec Freelander, and with reliability thrown in? No contest!
Costs
Good value to buy, service costs cheap by main dealer standards.

Driving
No problems either around town or on long trips. Always comfortable and easy to drive because of auto box.
Performance
Excellent power unit. Slightly nautical handling has improved with a few miles on it, but does still lean in bends.

Living with it
Reliability
Faultless.
Image
Quite well-styled, but some folk still regard it as a cheapy badge.
Comfort
Good leather interior. Loses a mark for not offering heated seats, even as an option.
