Not what I expected from a Japanese car, even with a high mileage.
Right from the start I never felt I could rust this car, in a little under two years it has needed 3 wheel bearings, a CV joint, aircon compressor, High pressure fuel pump, glow plugs, battery, heater blower and relay, crank postion sensor, cam postion sensor, all new handbrake cables etc etc.
Even after months of work we cannot find the issue that means it will not start from cold without a tiny squirt of easy start into the high pressure side of the air intake system. A modern diesel car should be worn out at just 100K miles.
