In their own words
The SantaFe is super comfy, moves when required, and puts up with a lot of short commutes mainly in congested traffic situations. It is loaded with 'widgets' for the tech minded, and for it's size and weight, delivers great MPG (certainly a load better than the discovery we had previously). Servicing and parts are priced more in line with a Ford, and just don't compare with the very expensive running costs of the Discovery. Also, the space is just great. Perhaps loses out a bit to the Discovery on overall space and certainly is less 'luxurious' inside. But for more than £20K less than the price of a Disco, and with more toys! I wouldn't go back to Land Rover
How reliable do you find the car?
The car has been used in a city centre environment, and even so, with many short congested trips, it has not had a single fault. it has to have a run once a month to keep the exhaust filter clean.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I wanted an SUV that was very comfortable over the UK's rough roads, and I chose the SantaFe because of it's comfort. It also has a very strong diesel engine, which is ULEZ compliant, and more space than I could ever want. Great car, with many features that you normally only find in SUV's costing 20K more.About their car
