Hyundai Santa Fe SUV (2018 - 2024) Premium SE 2.2 CRDi 200PS 4WD auto 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I’m a new owner, so this is only my initial impression on the Santa Fe. I needed a new vehicle that could cope with a heavier caravan we have on order. My search for a suitable vehicle was initially for a second hand diesel suv , and I’d short listed it down to a Volvo XC60 or a discovery sport, something around 2 years old. Then I happened to find a YouTube review of the mk4 Santa Fe and I thought it was such a good looking suv, so kept watching different reviews, and it struck me that every review was of the same opinion, great looking car, great build quality and great warranty. I started looking for a suitable used mk4, but it soon became apparent that I was going to get a better deal on a new one due to a healthy discount and finance contribution from Hyundai. The diesel model is soon to be discontinued, so at time of writing this, there’s some really good deals if a buyer shops around. I was looking mainly at cost per month on a pcp deal, and a new Santa Fe was at least £150 a month cheaper than anything else new or second hand. I paid a deposit and was a little apprehensive because I’d not even sat in one. So collection day came, I got in the Santa Fe, expecting to be a little underwhelmed and ready to find something I didn’t like,,,,,and,,,,,I’m still trying to find something. I’m actually blown away by the build quality, it’s such a lovely interior and has a quality feel I wasn’t expecting. The equipment level is excellent with lots of safety and comfort features. I’m now feeling rather smug , when is see others driving their “premium brand” SUV’s that they paid far more for but got nothing better for their money. I’ve owned multiple Mercedes, bmw and Volvo , so can say , this Hyundai is as well put together as any of those brands. I’ve fallen in love with it already, I look back at it when I walk away, that’s a sure sign I bought the right car.
