Economy
Value
Big car for the money useful towing ability.
Costs
Does about 30 mpg 22 mpg when towing a caravan. Seems to have a high insurance group considering the type of car it is.

On the road
Driving
Feels a solid engine, gearbox is smooth and quiet, but it doesn't like to be rushed.
Performance
Not a sports car for a 16 valve the engine is a slogger.

Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down, but the electrics are quirky. Remote blipper works sometimes. Electric window passenger side has stopped working. Also, timing belt jumped 2 weeks after I bought the car. No engine damage, but had to be replace it at a cost of £200.

Comfort
Big comfy seats. Ride is good, but not a sports car.

Security and Service
Security
Not tested the Sonata. It's not likely to be stolen anyway
Service
Bought from a franshised dealer they were not interested in my problems with the car. I get it serviced at a local garage with no problem.
