Hyundai Terracan (2003 - 2007) 2.9 CRTD 5d Auto Owner Review

Full-sized 4x4, still rattle-free at 105000 miles. Shame no centre diff so 4wd cannot be used except in slippery conditions, to avoid winding up the transmission. Only fault seems to be the rear diff only lasts for 50000 miles. The first was replaced under warranty, the second a year ago at 100000 miles. Paintwork (black) is still shiny after 10 years.. Car is very, very strong. It withstood a big rear hit from a runaway 7.5 ton van which pushed it over a kerb and into a wall at the front. Rear door and front grill were replaced, together with bumpers, but no other damage.
