Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Comfortable. Gearbox took some getting used to, but now prefer its "solid feel" to the vaugness of the wifes Yaris. Also indicator stalk is opposite to what I'm used to so sometimes still turn on wipers instead of indicators!!
What's it like to park?
In reality the wheel base is no bigger than a medium to large family car. Easy to manage in tght spaces.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Making a strange noise so I had a look under the bonnet. The power steering reservoir had become detatched and the pipe leading to it was rubbing against the alternator belt and had begun to leak. Took it to my local dealer, (different to purchasing dealer), they've replaced the pipe and also the power steering motor, (as it may have been damaged through running with low fluid level), and the alternator belt (as it has some fluid contamination. All this was done promptly, without question under warranty and a replacement car provided for the couple of days it took......Highly impressed.......The fault, hey could have happened on any car, but they way it was dealt with.....could imagine other manufacturers arguing over repair costs etc.....
What's most practical about your car?
Its more economical than my old Omega. It tows superb, (was a bit concerned going back to towing with a manual after a few years with the auto Omega). Loads of torque...easy hill starts even with a heavy van on the back. Loads of space and very comfortable.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Rear opening window is handy! Gives the dog a bit of air as the Mrs "remembers" another couple of things she has to do before we leave. Looking forward to the heated seats in the winter.
