Hyundai Tucson (2015 - 2020) 1.6 GDi Blue Drive SE 2WD 5d Owner Review

I bought this car because I loved the look of it and it got good reviews on the whole. The build quality is very good with lots of extras as standard. The 1.6 petrol is very quiet and smooth though not very powerful. The thing that is spoiling the driving experience for me is the ride quality. Every little road imperfection is felt in the car and you get bounced around inside. I even tried lowering the tyre pressures but it made no difference. Another dislike is the steering. Although it's fine around town, on the motorway it needs constant corrections to keep it in a straight line. One more thing is the passenger seat can't be raised up so my wife feels like she's sitting in a hole. It's a shame because I really wanted to like this car. The ride really let's it down. My advice is have good test drive on a variety of roads including motorways.
