Jaguar F-Pace 2.0d R-Sport AWD 5d Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
Car is remarkably easy to drive and takes 4 adults and luggage with ease. Coming from a 3 litre diesel XF I was worried that it would be slow in comparison to that car but I have been pleasantly surprised and feel able to exploit its performance.
We mainly use the vehicle for intermediate and longer journeys, preferring to use our smaller car for the supermarket run, this being where the Jaguar's bulk is more of an issue.
The dealer we use is Taggarts at Hillington in Glasgow with whom we are satisfied. The Ingenium engine has a 21,000 service interval but we are not doing that kind of mileage so concerned that services and MOTs are going to to get out of sync. Car is harder sprung than our XF but comfortable enough for longer journeys. Screen generally easy to use but glad Jaguar opted to keep buttons for the climate control. Like the digital speed readout and the speed limit of the road you are on being displayed prominently. Both our son and my wife dislike the steering wheel vibrating if you wander and switch this facility off. Both also turn down the anbient lighting at night as they find it distracting. Rear tyres are wearing at twice the rate of the front pair so will need to keep an eye on that. Car seems well put together and feels solid. Would buy another.
