Jaguar S-Type (1999 - 2007) 3.0 V6 4d Owner Review

So far the car has been reliable, responsive and comfortable. It is most enjoyable to be in and drive. It has reasonable running costs for the type of car it is, with fuel consumption, insurance and road tax all good for this type and age of vehicle. It can still be serviced at a Jaguar Dealer for a fixed price, but repairs and parts can be expensive. The balance between ride and handling is excellent, the car is just as much at home on bendy B roads as it is on the motorway. Slightly too large for comfortable city driving, it is at its best on the comparatively open road. The manual gear change is a delight, although quite rare on these cars. All in all it is a comparatively rare, comfortable, quick car which is a total pleasure to be in and drive.
