What does this car say about you?

You either have lots of money, or you are forever skint because in the UK running a 3.0l V6 doesn't come cheep believe me !

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They like it, it sits very well on the drive, make you look like you have either a very good job, or you are up to no good selling things you really shouldn't be selling.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would buy another S-Type but would be a moderner diesel to keep the running costs down. I would love the 4.0l R model but in the UK the running costs are just not practical to own one of these bruisers of a cruiser.

What are you likely to buy next?

Id have another, but with a smaller engine. the 3.0l V6 is powerful yet thirsty, i struggle to get 20.6mpg and thats driving like a saint, put your foot to the ground and you are wandering around the 10mpg mark. Many people have considered LPG conversions for this particular car, however it seems to detract from its originality. yes its a Jag, yes it has a big engine, but thats why Jaguar enthusiasts love them, they are big, comfy, but not a british as they used to be. Just remember to keep a stiff upper lip when you are at the filling station, You need it..
