Economy
Value
Paying a bit for the name I guess.
Costs
Servicing costs are a bit on the high side, but it's a Jaguar!
-
On the road
Driving
Comfortable, positive, needs revs at 4000 plus if performance is required as torque is low at below 3000
Performance
Not hot as a 2 litre but is a smooth performer with a 6 up front

Living with it
Reliability
Exterior temperature sensor failure proved a bit hard to find and cure. It affected the aircon. Handbrake prone to let car roll on incline, now the subject of a safety recall
Image
Tends to get you into places that another car might not.
Comfort
Could do with seat heating as standard in the SE. The boot space is rather limited and more so by the restricted access from the fold down split seat frame.

Security and Service
Security
Plus include the auto door locking above 5 mph, the driver door open only on the remote key fob unlock and the identify/ alarm also on the key fob
Service
Tends to be pricey for routine service. Warranty and recalls first calss.
