If you want old styling comfort supreme build quality and reliability this is for you . It never returns less than 44mpg and does 50mpg on a run . Will cruise all day long at 70mph at just over 2000rpms. Car has done 108000 miles without a missed beat. (From 80 k when purchased). Looking a bit dated now but I've tested a few modern cars that although more frugal don't have the torque and build quality. I have always changed my cars easily as get bored but this one is the hardest yet and will miss the jag.
How reliable do you find the car?
The only problem I have had is wearable parts like brake discs and pads every bulbs and pixel work on dash in fact it is so reliable I am reluctant to part with.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Previously I owned a mondeo which shares some parts. The mondeo is quicker as a lighter car. I thought jag was slow but only to 10mph but after power is delivered smoothly with no turbo lag or flat spots. All interior and body far superior to mondeo . In fact when I clean this car it still amazes me the paint finish and not a speck of rust and its 12 yrs old. I never keep a car this long but am truly struggling to replace without spending a lot of money .About their car
