Summary
What does this car say about you?
I would like to think it says your a bit quirky and and recognise a good product....the reality is that it probably says your in your twilight years to the majority of people. (I appear to be the youngest xtype owner ive seen at 40!).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Despite causing some amusement based on my previous cars and relative "youth" for a Jag owner they all come round to.its charms....these are incredible bargins for the same price as a similar mileage/age golf or focus you can get something so much better by just thinking a little more creatively.
Would you buy this car again and why?
They don't make it anymore...but it may have converted me to the Jag brand if i continue to need a disposable (they are so cheap) and comfy mileage eater.
What are you likely to buy next?
Depends what I need...

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Surprisingly very good....I come from owing a long line of sports cars from Lotus Elise to M sport BMW' and be under a no illusion in even in sports guise and xtype is not what i would call sporty...but being a "sport"and considering how comfy it is... its still a pleasure to drive ...(I shudder to think what the a no sports Xtype would be like I can only assume more akin to sailing a boat.).
What's it like to park?
Ok with PDC's.
