everyone thinks the car is worth a lot more than it really is. they all love it and are quite jealous for the most part

definitely, and that's the first time i've ever been impressed enough with any car to be willing to say that

maybe another x-type but i'll be hanging onto this one for a while. i'm going to do an LPG conversion, so want to let it pay for itself

Did you get a good deal and why?

i got a superb deal, probably because big-ish petrol engined cars don't tend to sell well these days.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

i've always wanted a jag and this one came up at the right time and at the right price in pristine condition with a perfect service history and low mileage

What's it like to drive?

lovely! smooth and quiet with just enough go to keep me happy. the auto box is a bit stupid when driving hard, but i use the gear selector to remedy this for quick overtaking and in corners when necessary. it's a dream

What's it like to park?

i find it fine, reversing sensors are a big help

Have you had any problems with the car?

the engine management light comes on occasionally, but it's just the sensor in the cat. nothing to worry about

What's most practical about your car?

it's the perfect size for my needs with 2 kids and a wife and the all wheel drive system is superb in the snow. we live in the countryside and have un-gritted roads to contend with
