Summary
What does this car say about you?
Being a luxury brand I guess some will see it as flash. I think it says I like to drive a 'luxury' car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My other half hasn't driven it but loves to go out in it thanks to the luxury feel and comfort. I've had a few comments from neighbours and the in-laws are now considering it as their next car later this year.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely.
What are you likely to buy next?
This is a company car so it'll be renewed in 3 years time. Who knows what will be available but if an updated version of this was out i'd certainly give it a try.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£28,750
When did you buy the car?
February 2016
Did you get a good deal and why?
The car was bought as an ex demo, 6 months old, 1600 miles on the clock. Being a demo it came with all of the toys i'd have wanted to spec if buying brand new, but saved about £4K.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The look, the spec, and some fantastic reviews.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful, i'd test driven one at my local dealer but the exact spec model I wanted was about a 250 mile drive away. The dealer arranged for the car to be delivered to my office with no fuss.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Superb. It's munched many motorway miles since i've had it, very relaxed, very comfortable. But when the B road comes into site and I switch to S mode, it's just as fun to thrown around as the Golf GTDs i've driven the last 5 years.
What's it like to park?
A doddle thanks to the parking aids. Rear visibility isn't the greatest thanks to it's sloping roof line but mine came with front and rear facing cameras, plus the usual parking sensors. I would spec the rear camera at the least.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing so far after 3000 miles of daily driving.
What's most practical about your car?
Being a long time hot hatch driver, it's nice to have the extra space, tools, shopping, pushchairs not invading the back seats because the boot is full.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The media display with all car settings, satnav etc is so easy to use and see. The different driving modes make driving in worse conditions a breeze and the auto box is flawless, very responsive in regular mode, a lot of fun is S mode.
