Jaguar XE 2.0d (180bhp) R-Sport 4d Owner Review

We had a choice between this model in white and the XF in red. Next to each other on the dealer's forecourt this looked more stylish and had the manual gearbox which, although seemingly an odd choice for some, was our preference. the handling, especially on back roads is superb with excellent grip and the torque is strong through all the gears. sixth gear can be used when going as slowly as 55mph ( but it will do that in second!) so fuel economy is reasonable. Had one sevice and an MOT, no faults and i'm looking forward to getting the electric version in a few years. Comfortable for four adults, five is a squeeze but it wasn't bought as a family car.It's tastefully understated in my view and not a SUV.
