Jaguars often get bad press but mine is the best car I've ever owned, in 56 years of car ownership. Main dealer sold and maintained from new, it has never let me down. It drives as it should, great road holding, cornering, stops quickly and gets you past slower traffic safely. The only criticism I could give is the lack of a reversing camera on my basic model. Sensors work OK but this length of car needs help when reversing into small gaps. (I reverse park every time I can.) Given the factory gate price of this simple tool I believe it should be standard equipment. The support from my JLR dealer is brilliant and the car has cost me nothing other than fuel and servicing costs which are no higher than Ford/Vauxhall/VW etc. I love it.
How reliable do you find the car?
Only one issue in 2 years, a faulty door latch replaced under warranty.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
For a small engined oil burner it flies! As a Jaguar should be, fast when needed, beautifully balanced, long legs for distance driving and always a pleasure to drive.About their car
