Past my sell by date and a sucker for looks.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think its a nice car until I tell them about the problems.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely not. I am so disappointed at what could be a great car is let down by build quality and the inability of Jaguar to fix a fault that's been their since 2008. In fact I will never buy a Jag again (unless its an E type).
What are you likely to buy next?
Just bought an Audi A6 3 litre quattro as I can't live with my disappointment with the lovely looking Jag any more.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Saw the car at Goodwood and thought it looked great. Good reviews and discount.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great to drive if you leave the fuel tank half empty to avoid the banging. Gearbox not the best.. Engine intrudes and sounds like a tractor at times - think I've got a bad one!
What's it like to park?
Difficult as it is too long for most supermarket and car park spaces - longer than my Discovery 4.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Drivers seat squeaks and has leaked foam from day 1. Sat nav and audio crashes intermittently. Fuel tank bangs loudly when full under braking - a known fault with a prescribed dealer fix that doesn't work! Disgraceful on a car of this cost.
What's most practical about your car?
Not much. 4 seats but a boot that is hard to access.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The way the gear knob and air vents appear when you turn it on.
