What does this car say about you?

That I am doing ok financially. That I prefer British engineering (if not money). That I enjoy driving.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I have only received positive comments. Most have been simply "nice car".

Would you buy this car again and why?

Absolutely. I have never enjoyed owning a car so much and it is (still) a joy to drive.

What are you likely to buy next?

If I can put together the funds it may be another XF when the new version comes out based on the new XE architecture.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I used the What Car? Target Price service with the dealership to get the best deal possible.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

The XF was my dream car and I bought the highest trim level I could afford.

What was the dealer like?

What you would expect of a premium brand dealership. Extremely courteous and helpful.

What's it like to drive?

I cannot fault the engine which is as comfortable to drive around town as it is cruising the motorways. Can be relatively frugal if you drive carefully. Equally you can put your foot down and bring a smile to the face when conditions allow.

What's it like to park?

Easy to maneuver but does need a reasonable size space to cope with its dimensions.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The automatic air vents needed to be replaced. A couple of minor rattles were fixed. Otherwise 3 years of trouble free motoring.

What's most practical about your car?

Very easy to drive for a big car. I enjoy every second I am behind the wheel.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Ability to play DVDs.
