What does this car say about you?
That I have been quite successful. That I like the finer things. That I like something with a sporty image.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
I have had more "nice car" comments with the Jaguar than any other car I have owned. Stranger will stop and talk to me about it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. I have been delighted by every moment I have spent behind the wheel. The car has character which I didn't feel when I test drove a BMW 5 series for example.
What are you likely to buy next?
I would be happy to have the same again but I am also awaiting with interest to see what the forthcoming Jaguar XE is like.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I got what I consider to be the best possible deal. I used the What Car Target Price data and stuck out until the dealer gave me a price, including trade in, that I was satisfied with.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was my dream car. I loved the XF from the moment I first saw one.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly right through what were difficult negotiations. They really wanted my business.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I love driving this car. Everything is effortless. It has plenty of power to spare and cruises without drama. There is also plenty of oomph when needed. You know it will go quickly but it it such a pleasure to drive that you rarely want to. I usually take my time getting anywhere these days just so I can be behind the wheel longer.
What's it like to park?
It is a big car so you need to make sure there is enough space to avoid other car doors opening into you. However, the car maneuvers well so I rarely have a problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
There were a couple of squeaks early on that the dealer was able to resolve. One of the rotating vents needed to be replaced because it didn't rotate smothly.
What's most practical about your car?
It is extremely cpmfortable in long journeys.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The heated seats are great in winter. The sound system is good. I love the alloy wheels I chose.
