Jaguar XF Saloon (2008 - 2015) 3.0d V6 S Luxury 4d Auto Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
ive read many reviews on this car and i cringe at some of the moans, ok you can have an unlucky car but in my experience this car has to be the best i have owned in 45 years of car ownership.the driving appeal, mpg and looks all make up a great car.some complain about service costs at jag garages,so dont go there i use my local susuki garage who do a great job at almost half the price and they use recommended jag parts. they fixed a door rattle for £35,and i fixed a rear suspension squeek, so now the car is running great.yes there are cars with slightly better things in them but at what price.the car is just a joy to drive, the way it seems to come alive when you start it and it will scare many a hot hatch when you use sport mode and the paddle gears.on the practical side i find it roomy and comfortable and great for long journeys fantastic overtaking power it seems to drive better the quicker you go just be aware of your speed as 80 and 90 comes up very quick. the boot size is very good you can get a large case and a few holdalls in and various soft items, plus there is plenty room on the back seat if there is only two of you,and i didnt mention this is the only modern car i have seen that takes a full size spare wheel, dump the repair rubbish who needs that at the side of a motorway, an aa man i spoke to said they wouldnt use it they prefer a spare so having said all that i intend buying another xf i hope i dont get an unlucky one.dont be put off by jag garages offering less money on a trade in if they have not serviced it because what i have saved over the last 5 years by using my local garage makes up for it.so there we have it a great car that people admire and i enjoy driving
