What does this car say about you?
Smart, well off, not just another german car owner. Actuallt felt a bit embarrased in the co car park since it was that smart!!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Very jealous.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. But would also think hard about the next generation 535d. Mpg is a disaster - 35mpg if lucky. And £325 tyres per corner is no joke.
What are you likely to buy next?
XF or 535d. Perhaps A8 4.2d to get the performance and the 4x4. Otherwise nothing else out there.

Did you get a good deal and why?
No, struggled to get below list price. I believe stratstone have purchased many of the second hand jags out there, and control much of the market.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Good looking car.
What was the dealer like?
As ever, great pre sale and bored after the deed was done.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Awesomely fast. And very well behaved for a high speed diesel. A bit noisy when cold, but serene when warmed up and on the move.
What's it like to park?
Make sure you have front and rear sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Rear wheels skid out if hoofed too hard. Winter tyres have solved this.
What's most practical about your car?
Not sure. Quite a tight cosy cockpit for mum and dad with a wide transmission tunnel occupying a lot of space. Similarly cost in the rear - goo for late teens, but touring Europe with four adults is a no go.
