Jaguar XJ Saloon 3.2 4d (1990/H) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Cheap and cheerful I got mine for £950, 12 months MOT and FJSH!
Costs
Hideous service costs, avoid Jaguar dealers.
-
On the road
Driving
Smooth luxury cruiser, ideal for motorways, not so good in town or country roads.
Performance
Tremendous acceleration, quite capable of scaring off most boy racers, 3.2 sounds raucous at very high speeds (whoops... sorry Officer).

Living with it
Reliability
No problems, started first time every time, never let me down.
Image
Bit of an 'old mans' car, shame really because they are an incredible bargain.
Comfort
Fabulous - leather, walnut dash, air con, all electrics... as comfy as an armchair.

Security and Service
Security
No probs here, but then I can't imagine anyone wanting to nick an old Jag!
Service
Don't use Jag dealers! They charge a FORTUNE!
