Jaguar XJ Saloon 4.0 Sovereign 4d Auto (1991/H) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
A one owner, 83,000 mile luxury car for £500. You wouldn't get a set of BMW alloys for that!
Costs
Surprisingly good. Cheaper than the Honda sourced parts for my old Vitesse. Does well over 30mpg on long runs.

On the road
Driving
Bit wallowy on slow bends, but rock solid once it gets going.
Performance
It's quick, but for some reason I drive this much slower than any car I've ever owned. Must be getting old.

Living with it
Reliability
Never missed a beat yet. Just keep the oil topped up (handy gage to tell you when) and change the fluids and filters regularly and they'll go on forever.

Choose your image. Get a dark coloured one and you can be a politician or Phil Mitchell.
Comfort
Superb seats - all electric - are very comfortable.

Security and Service
Security
I've heard it's not that good, but mine's got a tracker fitted from when it was worth stealing.
Service
Use local garage.
