Jaguar XJ Saloon 3.2 Sport 4d Auto (1995/M) Owner Review

Economy
Value
All models come with a good standard equipment list, as good as any BMW or Merc.
Costs
Very high. I can only get around 20mpg around town in my 3.2. However, if you buy spares from Jaguar specialists rather than main dealers, costs can be kept lower.

On the road
Driving
Holds the road well and engine very willing. Steering is slightly light though.
Performance
My 3.2 model has more than enough power to outrun most cars and is great for motorway cruising.

Living with it
Reliability
Only problems so far are a weak thermostat and fuel gauge sender unit.
Image
The car looks great fom all sides, certainly better than the brick shapes they produce in Germany.
Comfort
More like a gentleman's club than a car, with wood and leather on all cars.
