Economy
Value
You would never call these cars a bargain, but for the level of kit and performance you get, they are great second-hand buys.
Costs
20mpg equates to regular visits to the pump. Accept this though and it's not too bad.

On the road
Driving
For a car in this class, it handles extremely well with minimised body roll and well damped suspension.
Performance
It's what the car is famous for. Extremely quick off the lights and great mid-range torque. As it's supercharged, no turbo lag to worry about.

Living with it
Reliability
I've had one major problem with a throttle housing failure, but this was fixed under warranty. Otherwise nothing at all.
Image
Depends on the image you want. Mine gets remarked on as being very prestigious, well known as being fast but is a bit 'old manish'.
Comfort
It would score a five if it wasn't for the measly rear legroom. Apart from that, pure opulence.

Security and Service
Security
Very good with deadlocks, immobiliser and remote alarm. Never had it tested yet though, thank God.
Service
Jaguar dealers are extremely expensive (£85 an hour). Find a good independent specialist. Jagtech in Bracknell, Berskhire are who I use.
