Summary
What does this car say about you?
Probably that I'm no longer a spring chicken!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most of them love it. My 78 year old Mum finds it a bit low to get in and out of, but she likes the ride and the comfort once she's installed.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, there's little to beat it, especially at current prices, but it would have to be converted to run on LPG.
What are you likely to buy next?
Already bought a Citroen C5 estate - I can't get the new baby's pushchair in the boot of the Jag.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£7,500
When did you buy the car?
July 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think it was a good deal - it came with a 6 month warranty and only had 27000 miles on it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted a comfortable car to do a 72 mile each way daily commute.
What was the dealer like?
A back-street lot, but tidy, with good quality cars.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very precise - easy to place on the road, although the steering is a little vague in the straight-ahead position.
What's it like to park?
Once you get used to the length, it's quite easy. Later models were fitted with parking assistance systems, and these are quite easy to retrofit.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The front suspension needed a complete rebuild at 75000 miles, and one ignition module failed around the same time.
What's most practical about your car?
It's very comfortable, and reasonably quiet.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The LPG conversion! it does 23 mpg on petrol, and about 21mpg on LPG, but the LPG is just over half the price of petrol.
