What does this car say about you?

I have a Brand New BMW 520 as my company car but I just love using the XJ on a weekend it shouts out sophistication.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

From my 19 year old petrol head son to my 74 year old mum they love the car and are quite happy to be chauffered around.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Most definately it is just such a pleasure to drive and always still turns heads 11 years on.

What are you likely to buy next?

Company car will possibly be audi Q 5 or another BMW 5 series. privately i will keep the jag for some time and hand down to my son when he is 25 + the wife drives a very nice 98 plate Spider in the summer and is quite happy driving the XJ during the winter.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes it was from my father in law and I really cannot tell you the price but lets just say it has a lot of equity in the car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had a XJS but wanted more comfort as I get older.

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

It is smooth, elegant and just eats up the miles without any need to put your foot to the floor. it makes you feel like you need to drive it like a perfect gentleman.

What's it like to park?

Not to bad for it's size but I like to park where I am not going to get supermarket trolley dents etc or in between brand new Mercs and BMWs as they seem to want to ensure no scratches or dents from doors.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing at all it has been a perfect dream of a car for the last 14 months.

What's most practical about your car?

Its comfort.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated seats and memory computer.
